👁️ Vision Test – User Guidelines
🧩 About the Test
This vision test helps check your (or your child’s) eyesight using your phone’s camera. It works like the eye chart at the doctor’s clinic, but in a fun, smart, and child-friendly way.
⚙️ Before You Start
- ✅ Make sure you are in a well-lit room — not too dark and not too bright.
- ✅ Keep your face clearly visible to the front camera.
- ✅ Hold your phone in front of you at arm’s length (about 30–40 cm).
- ✅ Make sure the phone stays steady during the test.
- ✅ Remove any glasses if the test is meant to check your natural vision.
🚀 How It Works
1. Calibration
The app will automatically check distance and lighting using your camera. If anything needs adjustment, you’ll see on-screen guidance.
2. Trial Test
A short practice will appear first so you understand how to answer.
3. Eye Test
You’ll see symbols (like E or C shapes) on the screen.
Tell the direction of the opening or choose the matching symbol.
The test gets harder when you answer correctly and easier when you miss.
You don’t need to cover either eye — the app adjusts the image automatically.
4. Tracking
The front camera tracks your eyes to make sure the test is accurate.
5. Results
When the test ends, you’ll see:
- Vision for each eye (e.g., 6/6 or 6/12)
- Eye-tracking reliability (%)
- Lighting and contrast level
- Date and time of the test
🧾 After the Test
- Your results are saved automatically.
- A report for the doctor is generated with all details.
- You can repeat the test anytime to monitor improvement.
⚠️ Important Notes
- This app is a vision-screening tool, not a medical diagnosis.
- For any abnormal results, please visit an eye-care professional.
- Keep children supervised during the test to ensure accurate answers.
